The Omega 8005 Juicer will change how you view juicing forever. I have owned one since 2007 and not regretted it for one moment. It is a very powerful masticating juicer and has never balked at anything I've asked it to juice, from whole beets to woody carrots. Beyond that it is a multifunctional device which makes a creamy ice cream, peanut butter, pasta and more.

The Omega 8005 Juicer is a real work horse, having juiced two gallons worth of mixed vegetable juice in one setting without so much as a hiccup. Even after that workout, cleanup only took five minutes. I've juiced everything from wheat grass to root vegetables, soft fruits and even frozen items. The feeder tube is wide enough to fit smaller beets or apples whole, though it is certainly easier to put through in a cut form. The time it takes to process a batch varies depends on the items, but in general it ranges between five and twenty minutes. When I made fresh orange juice, it took far longer to simply peel them than to juice it all.

Setting it up and cleaning are so easy that I put my eleven year old son on that duty. It only needs a simple wash in the sink to be ready to dry and go again. We purchased the Omega 8005 Juicer hoping those two aspects would be easier but had no idea just how easy it was. There is truly no excuse for not juicing now.

While the Omega 8005 Juicer is not completely quiet, when in another room you cannot tell it is being used, which is much quieter than other brands I have tried in the past that leave your ears ringing. In comparison to centrifugal juicers it is barely a whisper.

For how durable and easy the Omega 8005 Juicer has proven, its price of $240 has been quite worthwhile. Replacement parts are very easy to come by from either the parent company or many online resources such as amazon.com. It comes with a 10 year warranty; which although nice to have, I doubt I'll ever need. I have not had one single problem with this juicer in over three years of frequent use.
