Love My Breville Juicer Fountain Compact bje200xl Fruit Juicer

I have had the Breville Juicer Fountain Compact bje200xl Fruit Juicer for 3 years and I absolutely love it.
I juice a variety of foods including; beets, greens such as kale or spinach, lemons, celery, ginger, apples, carrots, garlic, cabbage, and herbs with the most popular being parsley.
The manual states this machine is so powerful, you can put whole pineapple chunks in while leaving the rind on. Although I have not tried it, after using this juicer consistently for 3 years I totally believe it.

This Breville is the first juicer in which I did extensive research before purchasing. With 750 watts of power, 14,000RPM dual blade system, this juicer is somewhat on the noisy side but is extremely effective.
According to my research, it is much quieter than most because the pulp is kept inside the unit rather than extracted.
It's a centrifugal juicer meaning it spins at high speeds and during the spinning motion, the fruits/vegetables are shoved down the feeding tube, ground to a pulp and juiced.

The circular feed tube is 3” in width so I generally give a very rough chop of fruits and vegetables; halving apples, carrots go in whole, turnips are roughly chopped to fit.

Inside is a chrome filter basket where the juice and pulp separate and from there, the juice empties into an 800ml juicer jug.
Cleaning this unit is a breeze provided you get to it right away. If you wait to clean it and the pulp is left in the unit, it will dry up and stick making it extremely difficult to effectively clean.
This I presume goes with any juicer.

The brush is a necessity for cleaning the removable filter and works amazingly. The bristles are strong enough to get the filter perfectly clean.
Once you remove the filter, there’s a circular clear part which is also removable otherwise called an internal pulp collector.
The internal pulp collector is easily cleaned using the end of the brush – it’s almost like a flat spatula specifically made to clean this part of the juicer.
In addition, this part has the spigot where juice is extracted to the external container.
So in actuality, there’s just 3 sections of this juicer that are removable and needs cleaning after use; the chrome filter, the -internal pulp collector and the external juice jug. NOTE: The brush is mandatory in cleaning this unit so whenever it’s not in use I make sure it is inside the juice jug and placed underneath the spigot of the machine (it was made to go there) and sits on my countertop as it is very attractive being mostly chrome.

The warranty is good for one year, and if parts are needed they’re available on Breville’s site. I highly recommend this juicer!
